From TV production to online education: My French teaching journey
Ever since I was little, I've always had a camera in my hands. I remember the sleepless nights spent with my friends creating short films.
2014
My love for visual creation led me to Paris, where I started working as an assistant editor for various television programs. It was an exciting time, full of creative challenges and discoveries in the Parisian media world.
2019
After several years of a hectic life in Paris, I felt that I needed something else. Despite extraordinary professional opportunities, such as working at the Cannes Film Festival, the hustle and bustle of the capital no longer suited me. I then considered becoming a yoga teacher, drawn by the idea of teaching and sharing a practice that brought me so much serenity.
2020
I took a sabbatical year to travel around the world and reflect on what I really wanted to do in life. I explored breathtaking countries and met extraordinary people (and animals). But as the world was suddenly turned upside down by the Covid-19 pandemic, my journey was interrupted. During the lockdown, I looked for a way to continue traveling virtually. I decided to teach my native language to students from all over the world.
2021
Encouraged by my students, everything became clear: teaching French online combined my love for languages, teaching, and my passion for visual creation. This is how the YouTube channel French Mornings with Elisa was born. I committed to creating authentic and captivating content to help my students reach an advanced level of French and develop their confidence.
Today
My mission is to turn every lesson into a cultural adventure, to inspire my students, and to guide them towards fluent mastery of French. French Mornings with Elisa is more than just an educational channel; it is a global community of French language enthusiasts, sharing a rich and exciting learning journey together.
